The John Deere dealership was a gathering spot for local farmers in the late 1930’s and 1940’s. Some dealers even had the tradition of having Santa on hand to give out candy to the children. Introduced in 1939 and built until 1947, this tractor was a mid-sized 12-hp tractor that replaced horses for many tasks.
